Planetarium
Another informative and educative place on the Teen Murti Bhavan campus is the Nehru Planetarium, the only planetarium in Delhi, which was established in 1984. The NMML took over charge of the Nehru Planetarium from the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund in 2005.

Since its inception, the Nehru Planetarium has been playing a seminal role in disseminating knowledge about space and promoting education in astronomy. Plans to upgrade the existing Planetarium to bring its equipment and infrastructure at par with other planetariums in the world are ongoing.

With its various innovative and informative shows like 'Our Cosmic Heritage', 'New Solar System' and 'Life Story of a Star', it enlightens its visitors about the mysteries of the sky.

The strength of the Planetarium lies in its live interactions and programmes, which have been constantly improvised and innovated, over the years, for visitors, students and amateur astronomers. Programmes for school and college students and amateur astronomers along with workshops and observing activities are organized throughout the year. Astronomy quiz and art competitions are held in the months of February and August.
